Debrah, 28, works in the biology and research division for vaccine making company, SHOTS INC. Her favorite holiday is christmas, and she always comes home to her small town to be with her grandmother for the holidays. Due to COVID, Debrah’s business is having layoffs, and she has been put on a work ferlow while the company decides who to cut.
Jerold a misunderstood covid germ, who recently got layed off from his undersecretary position in the Alluminati, is disgruntled with his city life. He decides moves to a country town far away from his past. He takes a job as the town square santa until he decides to use his savings to buy an old christmas tree farm.
He and Debrah meet while Debrah takes some local children to pick out a new town square christmas tree. They quickly become friends. Together they start to restore the old farm and rekindle the life in the overgrown christmas tree forest. Jack Mcdermott, who works part time at the hardware store, helps them with his mechanical know-how. As Jerold and Debrah try their best to restore the old farm, Debrah’s boss comes to the town to let Debrah know that she has been offered a permanent position in their company headquarters in New York, to work in advertising. But she has to decide before Christmas, or she will lose the job. Jerold is heartbroken, as he has begun to develop feelings for Debrah, but he knows Debrah has nothing to keep her in town.
When Jack hears that Debrah is considering moving back to New York, he confesses that he has always had feelings for Debrah. Will Debrah choose her highschool sweetheart, a born and raised country boy, or Jerold, a COVID germ she made a vaccine against and has nothing to his name except an old Christmas tree farm.
