As our second trimester is nearing its halfway point, and the last production has faded out from our sight, people may start to be curious: “What will our next production be?”

In the winter the school’s drama is always a musical- and this time, it is called Cabaret. This is a play that is set in the late-1920s, when Germany was in its great depression. Now imagine: you are a member of the Kit Kat Club, and you find out that you love being a member. However,  you are still desperate for a better life in the company of the one you love. Will you stay in Berlin? Continue your job, with the perk of being loved by the club owner, whom you secretly don’t like? Or will you move to America, and start a new life with someone you truly love? On the other hand, imagine yourself as a Jewish fruit vendor, who falls in love with a Nazi: will you stay with them, despite their occupation? Or will you give up your relationship? This is Cabaret!

Come out this February and enjoy the show!
