The most beautiful smile I ever saw was hers.

She had light green eyes- which were as beautiful as spring.

Her brown hair flowed over her back like a chocolate waterfall.

Her face was more beautiful than the angels themselves.

But her smile-

It brightened even the gloomiest of days.

It added color to the world, and even warmth in winter.

It made me feel as if nothing mattered but her,

And all the monotonous days that I endured had a purpose.

It melted all the worry, fear, and frustration I had and I became relaxed, and content.

But, as the day grows cold and the snow comes down,

I wish she was still here.

I wish I could see her smile one more time,

hear her laughter-

See her face

But I can’t.

All good things must come to an end

But, I will not forget her until it is my end.

The smile cannot be forgotten, it is imprinted in my mind like a scar.

I will never forget,

I will never let go of what we once had.

I love her with all my heart and soul and I still cannot have her.

“ I love you now and forever” I said

as I put the flower on her

cold

damp

grave.
